Testimonials

I loved this book!! One of the few books on pickup I've ever read cover-to-cover. Regardless of whether you're into pickup or not ("PUA"), this is an engaging, come-from-behind hero tale-- told autobiographically.

I enjoyed reading this book very much and could relate to a lot of the story. It really opened my eyes to the fact that it's never too late to learn new social skills, and I appreciate the author's honesty and humour throughout

I really enjoyed this memoir and highly recommend it. Alex holds nothing back, exploring the internal dialogues that plague the male mind in our increasing politically correct society.

Since writing the Too Late, Mate?, Alex has written two further books about first dates: 52 First Dates Part 1 & 52 First Dates Part 2.
